Duncan & I had a successful Great North Run, with the results below.
Thankfully the rain held off until about my fifth mile, when it rained heavily for a couple. There is always a fantastic atmosphere there though, with loads of enthusiastic spectators. I’d recommend the race to anyone who hasn’t done it. I’m lacking in speed this year, so was very happy to get inside 1:50.
