Junior Membership Terms and Conditions

General

I understand and agree that I/my child participate in coaching sessions under the instruction of England Athletics accredited Henfield Joggers coaches entirely at my/his/her own risk. I have considered the nature of such sessions, and understand them/have discussed them with my child. I am satisfied that I/they am/are sufficiently responsible and competent to assume full and entire responsibility for my/their own safety under the supervision of an England Athletics accredited Henfield Joggers coach.

Parents of Junior Members

I, being the parent/guardian of the child identified within this form, have read the information on this page and give consent for; (i) my child / child in my care to take part in the coaching sessions; (ii) me and my child / child in my care details entered on this form to be added to the Henfield Joggers database to be used by the Henfield Joggers team and coaches only and never to be passed onto any other organisation without my prior consent; (iii) my child / child in my care to be administered emergency first aid or medical treatment in emergencies without further consent and as deemed necessary by the coach or trained first aider on the scene; and (iv) the Henfield Joggers and coaches to contact me via email, phone or letter in relation to my child / child in my care and the Henfield Joggers programme of training and events.

Medical & Health

You should always consult your physician or other healthcare providers before changing your diet or starting an exercise program.

I, being the parent/guardian of the child identified within this form, understand that there is a risk of injury associated with participating and using Henfield Joggers.

I hereby assume full responsibility for any and all injuries, losses and damages that I/my child/child in my care incur while attending, exercising or participating in Henfield Joggers. I hereby waive all claims against Henfield Joggers, its coaches, or partners of individually or otherwise, for any and all injuries, claims or damages that I/my child/child in my care might incur.

Privacy Policy

Henfield Joggers will be what’s known as the ‘Controller’ of the personal data you provide.

We collect personal data about you / your child / child in your care for our safety and club communications reasons. The information can include gender, location and historic attendance at our training sessions, workshops, or activities associated with club activities, this may consist of name, address, email, phone number.

Why

We need your contact details to keep you, your child / child in your care, up to date with club activities, we won’t collect any information we do not need.

What 

Apart from the data you provide about yourself, your child / child in your care that you give us when you sign up, (name, address, date of birth, mobile, email, any relevant medical conditions etc), we may also store information relating to attendance at training and events, and as necessary to coach you, your child / child in your care effectively, athletic performance data and similar.

How

Personal data is securely processed and is held on secure servers. No 3rd parties have access to any data unless the law allows them to do so.

How long 

Your information we use for communication purposes will be kept with us until you notify us that you or your child / child in your care no longer wish to receive any more or within 90 days of terminating your club membership.

Your rights

If at any point you believe the information about yourself, your child / child in your care is incorrect please let Henfield Joggers know immediately. If you wish to raise a complaint about how we have handled any personal data, you can contact us to have the matter investigated at enquiries@henfieldjoggers.co.uk
