Winter Tanners

Hugh and Mark are long-time members of the LDWA, the Long Distance Walking Association, and want to draw people’s attention to the possibilities offered for long trail runs by this group, which despite the title is open to people running their routes and represents terrific value for money compared to other events
The Winter Tanners is a challenge walk (or run) of circa 30miles (or 20 miles) on Surrey footpaths and bridleways with MINIMAL support in weather conditions which may be adverse. Only strong and self-reliant walkers & runners should enter, though as Joggers we intend running as a group, so don’t be put off!
Anyone interested should join the LDWA (£13 for a year) and enter this and all LDWA events at member rates. As a member you will also receive a copy of the Strider publication plus many other benefits.
