Pub Runs

This important Club programme refers to our primary Summer training activities of running and drinking sorry just running!

On many Wednesdays during the Summer months between April and September we meet at 7pm at a designated pub (as outlined below). We then follow a cross-country run set from OS maps, which has a full 6-7 mile course but also always contains a shorter 3-4 mile return option, allowing everyone to come and have fun. The courses explore various areas of the beautiful Sussex countryside which we frequently only share with horses, cattle, deer and the occasional badger! The route is always circular, returning to the pub in question for refreshments and usually some well-earned pub grub.

For those who don’t wish to participate there is always a group running from Henfield Leisure Centre as usual each Wednesday, but check first.

And now, due to popular demand, we also run from pubs in the Winter, but with torches! See the Find Us page for current details.
